Age of  Empires Earth adalah game strategi yang sudah cukup tua yang dapat dimainkan multiplayer. Game ini hampir mirip dengan game Age of Empires 2 (AOE 2), dimana pemain harus menyusun strategi agar dapat memenangkan permainan di antaranya upgrade pasukan, upgrade ekonomi, dan upgrade teknologi.

Tampilan grafiknya cukup bagus dan sudah menggunakan mode 3D. Dapat diputard dan dapat di-zoom. Meskipun demikian popularitas game Age of Empires Earth ini tidak sebagus Game AOE 2, tetapi masih tetap digemari.

Teknologi di permainan ini bisa sampai membuat bom atom, robot, dan satelite, bahkan monk-nya saja dapat membuat angin topan dan membuat gunung meletus. Cukup menghibur memang, tetapi bagi pemula Cheat Age of Empires Earth masih dibutukan untuk memperlancar permainanan. Mereka lebih fokus terhadap strategi perang langsung dengan tujuan untuk memahami cara perang dan mengetahui lebih jauh kelebihan setiap pasukan tanpa memperhatikan ekonomi dulu.
