Stronghold Crusader adalah salah satu game strategi yang sampai saat ini banyak diminati para gamer dunia termasuk tentunya gamer Indonesia.

Game Stronghold Crusader selain dapat dimainan single player (satu pemain) melawan komputer untuk mengalahkan musuh atau campaign untuk mencapai target tertentu, dapat juga dimainkan multiplayer bersama player lain melalui jaringan LAN.

Jika Stronghold Crusader dimainkan multiplayer, para pemain dapat menambahkan beberapa oponen komputer (optional) sebagai lawan atau kawan.

Seiring perkembangan teknologi informasi khusunya di bidang internet dan keinginan para gamer untuk bermain melawan player lain yang berasal dari negara lain, maka game ini harus dapat dimainkan sebagai Stronghold Online melalui jaringan internet. Bagaimana caranya? Seperti halnya game Age of Empire-2, untuk dapat memainkan Stronghold Online kita dapat menggunakan Game Ranger sebagai program penghubung antar game sehingga menjadi sebuah permainan online.
