Facebook, jejaring sosial terbesar di dunia, kini terus mengembangkan beragam fasilitas dan hiburan untuk memanjakan para member-nya, permainan salah satunya.

Seiring bertambahnya permainan-permainan online di Facebook, banyak pengguna internet yang sengaja mampir di warnet atau membuka laptop sekedar untuk bermain game melepas kelelahan dan kepenatan setelah melakukan aktifitas rutin.

Para pekerja kantor, mahasiswa, bahkan anak-anak dan remaja pun kini banyak yang sengaja membuka laptop dan netbook mereka untuk berinteraksi dengan teman dan kolega merekan melalui permainan di Facebook. Asiyik bukan? Disamping refreshing, komunikasi dengan teman pun tetap berlanjut. Sambil menyelam minum air, sambil bermain game bisnis pun tetap jalan.

Inilah yang membedakan permainan online di Facebook dengan permainan online lainnya, permainan Naruto atau permainan milionare Indonesia memang dapat dimainkan online tetapi tidak dalam komunitas jejaring sosial.  Dengan kata lain tidak bisa melakukan chatting, kirim pesan, tulis posting singkat di wall, dan upload foto pribadi seperti halnya di Facebook.

Setiap member Facebook biasanya memiliki permainan favorit yang berbeda, namun demikian mereka dapat mengajak teman di Facebook untuk ikut bermaian, setidaknya menjadi tetangga yang baik dalam permainan tersebut.
